Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as washing the church vehicles, to preparing the church bulletins.

Ensley Recreation Ministries

At Ensley Church of the Nazarene, we strive to reach people through our recreation ministry. We have seasonal sports like softball and bowling teams. Join us during one of our events and let’s connect with one another.  Please see Anna Jackson for more details.

Mens Ministry

At Ensley, men are encouraged to be the men God created them to be. We gather on the 2nd

Saturday of each month at 7:30am. It’s important to gather with likeminded men and enjoy our friendships, but we also enjoy eating a delicious hot breakfast and spending time learning how to the be the men God created us to be.

Hoops Church
Open to all ages (children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian), Hoops Church is unique gathering of God’s people.  Located at the Northeast YMCA on Langley Avenue, our mission is to connect people to the LOVE and HOPE of Jesus Christ through the game of basketball.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook feed for additional church communication.

KidStuf is a Family Experience… KidStuf is a place where kids bring their parents to learn about life apps. A life app gives us a little glimpse of God’s character and as we apply that in our life we can change the world! KidStuf meets every Sunday at 9:30 in the KidStuf Auditorium (KSA).

Youth Ministry

Epic youth is a safe place where teens come to connect to the hope of Jesus Christ, and Connect to one another as God’s Church. Epic Youth meet every Wednesday at 6:30. Join us for worship, Bible Study , and fun.
Worship Arts Ministry
Praise Band, Praise Team, Praise Choir, Drama skits, and multimedia team
Kids Club
Each Wednesday at 6:30pm, we offer a special club for kids ages 4 years through sixth grade. Children spend approximately 30 minutes discussing and learning portions of the Bible. Afterwards, they spend 30 minutes enjoying hands-on activities such as crafts, games, outdoor play and art.

Girlfriends meet monthly, usually on the 2nd Friday night or 2nd Saturday morning.

It’s a time specifically for ladies to come together to fellowship, have fun, and support one another. Learning new crafts, browsing festivals, growing at conferences, and sometimes, just hanging out together…it’s always nice to spend time with your girlfriends.

Childcare is provided on an as-need basis

At Ensley Church of the Nazarene we intentionally seek out opportunities in our community to connect others to the hope of Jesus.  Through outreach efforts, such as quarterly Serve Saturdays, work and witness trips and Hoops (basketball) outreach, we are able to touch lives for Christ. For more information on how you can become involved in community outreach efforts, please contact Pastor Angela Stephens.
Ensley adults, 55-years young or better, come together for a great time of fellowship on the 2nd
of each quarter.  Every three months, a luncheon is planned, a speaker is invited and GOLDIES get together for dine, learn and visit. They don’t limit the fun to themselves! GOLDIES host each luncheon but welcome others of any age to enjoy time with them.
